Joseph G. Soliz

Mr. Joseph Soliz is a consulting attorney with our firm, bringing nearly 44 years of experience across a wide range of U.S. legal practice areas.

Mr. Soliz is a 1976 Graduate of Texas State University-San Marcos and a 1979 graduate of Harvard Law School. Mr. Soliz is admitted to the State Bar of Texas, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. Mr. Soliz is also licensed by the Texas Department of Insurance as an Escrow Officer in Texas. He is Board Certified in Oil, Gas and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Joseph has continuously been a member of the State Bar of Texas since 1979.

Mr. Soliz’s practice areas include immigration, oil, gas & mineral law, real estate law, corporate, commercial, business and contract law; governmental relations, debtor/creditor issues; litigation and alternative dispute resolution; probate; and estate planning. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Soliz serves as a member on the Board of Directors of and SER Ninos, Inc. d/b/a SER Ninos Charter School (www.serninos.org); an open enrollment charter school operating in the Gulfton Area of Houston, Texas.  He also currently serves as a member of the Paralegal Program Advisory Committee of San Jacinto College.
